How to create IPTV fast code?

a. Open “IPTV Server List” section

b. Click button, if you are reseller you have to disable , otherwise you just can use Vendor IPTV

c. Enter the fast code and description

d. Click button

e. Click “Manage server list”

g. Set the parameters, the items with “*” must be set. If the app you selected support multi protocol, you have to choose one protocol.

i. You can loop to step “f” to add more IPTV service for one fast code

How to set default IPTV service?

a. Open “User Default Data” > “Default IPTV Server” section

b. Click button for different model

c. Click “Fast Code” selection bar

d. Hold CTRL and click the fast code you want, support multi selection

e. Click button

Why STB can’t detect new firmware version?

a. Open “Firmware” section

b. Check new version item, if the “Confirmed” option switch to “YES”

c. Only STB original brand owner has right to confirm new version firmware

d. Please enable your STB “SmartUpgrade Test Mode” and test new online version before confirmed

Why STB can’t detect new app version?

a. Open “App” section

b. Click “Manage versions” of the App

c. Check the version if confirmed

d. Open “Model” section

e. Check if the app assigned to the model

How to provide private launcher?

a. Open “Launcher” section

b. Click button

c. Upload your APK file and set the items. The item with “*” must be set. “Select model list” just mean which models have right to use this launcher, it doesn’t mean the models will use this launcher. You have to open “User Default Data > Default Launcher” to set the launcher for the models

How to provide private app?

a. Open “Apps” section

b. Click button

c. Upload your APK file and set the items. The item with “*” must be set. “Select model list” just mean which models have right to use this app

d. There “Supported protocols” item only for IPTV application that support multi protocols and the protocols already added by CLAP center server. It means if you have one private IPTV application and that support some private protocols, you have to ask CLAP center server engineer to add your private protocol first. That private protocol name will be used when add new IPTV fast code. For detail please contact CLAP center server engineer to check.

Why can’t set one launcher for model?

a. Open “Launcher” section

b. Check the of the launcher, only you can assign to different models, launcher only can control by CLAP center server

d. Check “Select model list”, if there is the model you want

Why STB can’t see some apps?

a. Open “App” section

b. Other steps same as “Why can’t set one launcher for model”

How does reseller to manage STB?

a. Open “Reseller” section

b. Click button

c. Set the items, all items must be set. “Model” item let you assign which models can be managed by reseller.

d. Click button

e. Provide the username and password to reseller

f. Reseller login your CLAP server

g. Click to download “clap_signature” file

h. Copy “clap_signature” file(don’t rename) into USB stick, the USB stick will be “CLAP USB”

i. Use this “CLAP USB” reseller can switch STB to his own management

j. Reseller can make many “CLAP USB”, let store employee to use “CLAP USB” when showing the STB to end user

How to switch mass STBs to different reseller?

a. Download reseller clap_signature file

b. Copy clap_signature file into many USB sticks

c. Insert USB sticks into STBs

d. Power on STBs, waiting STB initialization, when initializing the LED is flashing between RED and GREEN with 0.5 second interval

e. The STB LED will show RED when initialization successful, otherwise LED flash between RED and GREEN very fast around 0.2 second means something failed

f. If you see LED flash fast, you can reboot the STB let it do again, or connect the TV to check what kind of failed

g. If you see LED show RED means successful, you can directly power off the STB, disconnect USB, repack and sell

How to support multi URL for one IPTV server?

Set IPTV server URL, you can make newline for multi URL like below. STB will automatic choose working URL when login.

How to change APP icon and name?

a. Click app icon

b. Set APP name or icon. The icon must be png, size is 320*180

c. Click button

d. Delete name or icon it will back to default name and icon

How to modify or add more language translation?

a. Open Server settings -> Server language

b. Click or other language this icon, to download the language translate excel file

c. Use Excel to edit the translate file to your language, only third column need to modify to your language

d. Change the fourth column there is language code to your language. When click button, you can get the language code for your language like below, if just modify translation don’t need to change the language code

e. If add new language, on new language page, choose new language, click button to upload your new language translation

f. If modify translation, click button to edit language page, click button to upload your new translation
